I am have received my PhD/MBA in Computer Science at College of Computing and Scheller College of Business, Georgia Inistitute of Technology in December 2019. I work as a part of CompArch and EMC^2 Labs with Prof. Milos Prvulovic and Prof. Alenka Zajić. My general interest is computer architecture. Currently my research is focused on architectural-level analysis of side-channel signals and evaluating of remote hardware profiling via side-channel signal. We are developing a novel approach that leverages side-channel signal for profiling, monitoring and intrusion detection. I also have great interest in emerging technologies in memory subsystem and heterogeneous architecture e.g. processing-in-memory(PIM).
I got my Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at New Mexico State University. I have been lucky enough to be a part of Advanced Computer Architecture, Performance and Simulation Laboratory (ACAPS), directed by Prof. Jeanine Cook where I wrote my thesis titled, "Performance Evaluation of Shared-Memory Protocols Facing Graph Data". During my Master studies I focused more on High performance Computing, Multi-core Architecture, Memory Hierarchy and Hardware design for Image processing algorithms. I received BS in Computer Engineering-Hardware from Shahed University of Tehran, Iran, where I did my final project titled "High performance spoken digit recognition with Artificial Neural Networks and Hidden Markov Model" and experienced research in Image and Sound Processing as well as Pattern Recognition along with computer architecture and hardware design courses.
